What is Pay4K and what does it cost?

All Seattle Public Schools provide full day Kindergarten. The state of Washington funds only half day and, to provide full day Kindergarten, SPS set up the Pay4K program.

Currently, the fee for full-day kindergarten for the 2010-2011 school year is $2,070, payable in ten (10) equal installments of $207. Prepayment is acceptable, however no discount is offered. Additional details are provided below. The amount of tuition is subject to change each year. Fees are waived for (1) Students eligible for free and reduced priced meals (FRL), (2) All students at schools where 55% or more of the students are eligible for FRL.
