For the 2009-2010 school year, at-school supervision will not begin until 9 a.m. -- do not drop your child off before then! The first bell in the morning will ring at 9:15 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 9:20. School will end for the day at 3:25 p.m.

If you are driving your child to school, please comply with the following procedure: There will be a moving line of cars along 85th. Stay in your car until you get to the front of the school. Once there, do not park! Let your child get out of the car and move on. For the safety of the children, please DO NOT double park or pull alongside cars who are in the moving line along the curb. If your child needs assistance getting out of the car or needs to be walked to the front door, please park elsewhere so that you can assist your child without holding up others.

Jane Addams K-8 Building Preparation Day

Jane Addams K-8 will be opening this fall. Please join the Jane Addams community as they prepare for the upcoming school year. Wear old clothes and get ready to paint, clean and help set-up classrooms at the newest school in the NE Cluster! Meet in the Jane Addams lunchroom to find out where you can help. Supplies will be provided by Seattle Public Schools and local businesses. No childcare will be provided.

This is an annual kick-off to the school. year. Excited kids get to meet, parents and staff get to greet, and everyone gets to eat! Kindergarten rooms will be open the first 30 minutes to allow parents to see the rooms and drop off supplies. The rooms will close at 5:30 pm.
