What Is SCRIP?

SCRIP are prepaid cards that are used just like cash. Wedgwood families buy the cards at FULL FACE VALUE and redeem them at FULL FACE VALUE. When you use SCRIP to purchase everyday expenses - like food, gas, clothing and other essentials - you also earn money for Wedgwood!

How It Earns Money for Wedgwood

SCRIP is purchased in large quantities by scrip providers and by us locally. Because it is purchased with cash up front, retailers offer rebates (see our order form for specifics) and pass them on to us. This adds up quickly!

Example:
Family's Monthly grocery budget $400
Monthly, buy QFC SCRIP valuing $400
QFC rebates 5% of the face value to Wedgwood $20 each month
Do so for 10 months of the school year $200 each year
If 100 families do this, Wedgwood receives $20,000

What Does SCRIP cost me?

NOTHING! Only a little time and planning. You don't have to sell anything. The things you purchase are the things you need - gas or groceries, even gifts!

How do I buy SCRIP? - 2 Easy Ways

  1. Paper Order Form
    • Form is sent home in kidmail every month the week before the order is due.
    • Fill it out and total up your order
    • Staple the order form to your check for payment made payable to: WEDGWOOD PTA.
    • Return order via kidmail or drop it off at the main office.
  2. Order Online - It's Safe, Secure and Easy!
    1. SIGN UP
      • Click on "SIGN UP" to go to the Shop With Scrip web site
      • Click on "Create Account
      • Follow the four simple steps and click "I Accept"
      • Enter Wedgwood's Enrollment Code: LEAF17929381 and click "Join"
    2. SHOP
      • If you already have an account, Click on "SHOP". Sign in and make your selections.

Using the Shop with Scrip Website

  1. Login with your username and password.
  2. Go to the "SHOP" tab to Browse by Category.
  3. Select desired Gift Cards and Quantities and Add to Cart.
  4. When you are finished making selections proceed to Checkout.
  5. Review your selctions and edit as necessary.
  6. When you are satisfied with your order, click on "Confirm your Order."
  7. Print out the Confirmation Page. Indicate your child’s Teacher and Room Number. Staple it to your check for payment made payable to: WEDGWOOD PTA
  8. Choose Delivery Options
    • Pick up Cards in the Office
    • Have the cards delivered through Kid Mail

PrestoPay

  1. Another benefit to ordering online is the use of PrestoPay. With PrestoPay you can pay for your order online by using a safe, reliable NACHA electronic fund transfer system. This eliminates the need for you to drop off a check.
  2. Log in to www.shopwithscrip.com.
  3. Click on the PrestoPay announcement to create an account.
  4. Enter all the required banking information and click "Next" to submit.
  5. Wait for Great Lakes Scrip Corporation to verify your account. Typically 1-2 business days.
  6. During the next few days, watch for 2 small deposits of money to be made IN the account you have designated. Take note of both amounts and return to your Account Dashboard on www.shopwithscrip.com
  7. Click on the message at the top of the screen... "Your Presto-Pay Account has not been verified. Click here to verify."
  8. Enter the amounts supplied by your bank as deposited by Great Lakes Scrip Corporation and click "Next" to complete the enrollment process.
  9. Once the account is verified, choose PrestoPay to pay for your order. Great Lakes Scrip Corporation will immediately debit your account for the face value amount of your order, plus a small convenience fee of $0.39, and hold that payment until Wedgwood's order has been released by the coordinator.

Reload your Card

  1. ShopWithScrip offers you the opportunity to "reload" funds onto gift cards you already possess - and still earn a rebate for your organization.
  2. Log in to www.shopwithscrip.com
  3. Select "Card Reload" and choose your brand.
  4. Select your amount and "Add to Cart."
